Headphone-side connectors for the Sennheiser HD 600, HD 650, HD 6XX and HD 660S — the two-pin fitting the HD 580 introduced and every HD 6-series since has kept. Widely known as the Cardas connector, after the cable Cardas built for the HD 650. Sold as a pair: one recable, both cups.

Three parts per side — pin insert, housing shell and strain-relief cap — so the plug assembles around your cable rather than sliding over it. One plug per earcup, two contacts each, so all four conductors stay discrete from amp to driver: balanced wiring with no shared return and no rework. Solder cups take 26 AWG and finer. Housings are marked L and R.

Our take
Solder and dress the joints before you clip the shell shut — once it is closed there is no getting an iron back in. And the L and R on the housings are the only thing separating the two plugs; they are otherwise identical, so mark your cable ends before you start rather than guessing after.
